And David built all around from the Millo and inward.

Thus also he did for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
Jeremiah 25:8-11 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Because you have not obeyed My words, behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,' declares the Lord, 'and I will send to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land and against its inhabitants and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them and make them a horror and a hissing, and an everlasting desolation. This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years.'"

For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it;
Revelation 22:1-2Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
