Congregational call to worship
Leader: Come, people of God, let us gather in His presence! From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! (Psalm 113:3) Congregation: Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable! (Psalm 145:3). Leader: Hear the Word of the Lord: "Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28-29) Congregation: We come, bringing our burdens, our joys, and our whole selves before the Lord, for His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Leader: The Lord calls us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Let us enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! (Psalm 100:4). Congregation: For the Lord is good, and His steadfast love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations! (Psalm 100:5) Leader: Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2) Congregation: We come to glorify the risen Christ, who is seated at the right hand of the Father, ruling with power and grace. Leader: Lift up your hearts! Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord! Leader: Let us worship the Lord with gladness, for He alone is holy, He alone is worthy, and He alone is Lord over all. Congregation: Amen! We will worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness!
