Pre-Sermon Hymn
Speak O Lord
Verse 1
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your Truth, plant it deep in us;
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness;
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak O Lord, and fulfill in us
All your purposes for your glory.
Verse 2
Teach us Lord, full obedience
Holy reverence, true humility.
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise, cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of power that can never fail;
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.
Verse 3
Speak O Lord, and renew our minds;
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time,
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises;
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till your church is built,
And the earth is filled with your glory.

Old Rugged Cross
Verse 1
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
the emblem of suffering and shame;
and I love that old cross where the dearest and best
for a world of lost sinners was slain.
Chorus
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.
Verse 2
O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
has a wondrous attraction for me;
for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above
to bear it to dark Calvary. [Chorus]
Verse 3
In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
a wondrous beauty I see,
for 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
to pardon and sanctify me. [Chorus]
Verse 4
To that old rugged cross I will ever be true,
its shame and reproach gladly bear;
then he'll call me some day to my home far away,
where his glory forever I'll share. [Chorus]
Worship 2
When I Survey The Wondrous Cross
When I survey the wondrous cross
on which the Prince of glory died,
my richest gain I count but loss,
and pour contempt on all my pride.
Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast
save in the death of Christ, my God!
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them through his blood.
See, from his head, his hands, his feet,
sorrow and love flow mingled down.
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet,
or thorns compose so rich a crown?
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were a present far too small.
Love so amazing, so divine,
demands my soul, my life, my all.

All to Honour Jesus
Verse 1
Father, may I serve like my Saviour
Give me eyes to see what You see
Teach my sinful heart to be humble
Help me be Your hands and feet
Verse 2
Father, may I love like my Saviour
As He had compassion on me
May I work for justice and mercy
For the ones in greatest need
Chorus
God of love would You lead me?
Take this heart, make it holy
Help me serve through the strength of Christ
All to honour Jesus with my life
All to honour Jesus with my lifе
Verse 3
Father, may I tell of my Saviour
How He offеrs hope for the lost
Help me share the grace and forgiveness
That He showed me at the cross
[Chorus]
Bridge
Praise my Saviour for His mercy
Praise the Servant King
All to Jesus be the glory
All to honour Him
Praise my Saviour for His mercy
Praise the Servant King
All to Jesus be the glory
All to honour Him
All to honour Him
[Chorus]
Closing Hymn
The Servant Song
Brother, Sister, let me serve you,
let me be as Christ to you;
pray that I may have the grace to
let you be my servant, too.
We are pilgrims on a journey,
we are travellers on the road;
we are here to help each other
walk the mile and bear the load.
I will hold the Christ-light for you
in the night-time of your fear;
I will hold my hand out to you,
speak the peace you long to hear.
I will weep when you are weeping;
when you laugh I'll laugh with you.
I will share your joy and sorrow
'til we've seen this journey through.
When we sing to God in heaven
we shall find such harmony,
born of all we've known together
of Christ's love and agony.
